Buddhists gave out 500 free gifts, including water and milk, to the candidates. In addition to directly giving the candidates spiritual encouragement gifts before the exam, after the Literature exam, Venerable Thich Dong Tue - Abbot of Ha Pagoda also answered the exam questions for the candidates right at the exam site.

Venerable Thich Dong Tue said that in the past, when he was a student, he loved Literature very much. Later, although he majored in History at the Buddhist Academy, he still wrote articles for many literary magazines. The Venerable also commented that this year's exam was not difficult, with questions close to reality so they were easy to relate to.
