Nghe An: Training on applying electronic invoices for tax units and businesses

From March 24 to 25, in Vinh City, Nghe An Tax Department organized an online training conference on electronic invoices. At Cu Thue bridgehead, comrade Ha Le Dung - Deputy Director of Nghe An Tax Department chaired and directed the conference, attended by representatives of tax authorities and businesses in the province.
The conference deployed training and introduced key contents aboutelectronic invoiceaccording to the provisions of the Tax Administration Law No. 38/2014/QH14, Decree No. 123/2020/ND-CP and Circular No. 78/2021/TT-BTC. Answering opinions and questions of businesses and organizations sent to the Tax Department regarding electronic invoices. Representatives of organizations providing electronic invoice services introduce the application of electronic invoices (VNPT Nghe An, Mobifone Nghe An, Vettel Nghe An, Misa).
The main training content includes 3 contents.
Firstly, the method of converting electronic invoices. Enterprises and organizations that have used electronic invoices according to Circular No. 32/2011/TT-BTC dated March 14, 2011 of the Ministry of Finance proactively contact the unit providing the service to convert invoices according to the standard format of Decree No. 123/2020/ND-CP and Circular No. 78/2021/TT-BTC immediately after receiving the notice from the tax authority. Business households and individuals implementing electronic invoices according to the implementation roadmap of the tax authority will be notified to the business address of the business households and individuals.
Second, types of electronic invoices and users, electronic invoices with tax authority codes, are invoices that after enterprises, economic organizations, households, and individuals doing business or production, will be sent to the General Department of Taxation electronically through a solution provider. The General Department of Taxation issues a code and returns it to the taxpayer. Enterprises, economic organizations, households, and individuals doing business will send it to the buyer.
Subjects of use: Enterprises, economic organizations, households, and business individuals using electronic invoices with tax authority codes when selling goods and providing services.
Third, the issue of implementing electronic invoices. The Tax Authority will notify each enterprise, economic organization, other organization, household, and individual business to switch to using electronic invoices according to Decree No. 123/2020/ND-CP, Circular No. 78/2021/TT-BTC. Upon receiving the notification, the taxpayer shall send the Declaration of registration of information on using electronic invoices (Form No. 01 DKTĐ/HĐĐT issued with Decree No. 123/2020/ND-CP) to the tax authority electronically, through organizations providing electronic invoice solutions.

In case of using electronic invoices with tax authority codes without having to pay service fees, you can register to use electronic invoices through the General Department of Taxation's Electronic Information Portal.
Immediately after the tax authority accepts the registration to use electronic invoices according to the regulations in Decree No. 123/2020/ND-CP, taxpayers must stop using electronic invoices that have been announced to be issued according to previous regulations. Destroy paper invoices that have been announced to be issued but have not been used (if any) according to regulations and use new electronic invoices when selling goods and providing services.

Nghe An Tax Department strives to deploy electronic invoices for 100% of enterprises, economic organizations, business households, and individual businesses in the area by June 30, 2022, in order to improve the quality and efficiency of administrative agency operations, serving people and businesses.

Deploying electronic invoices in 57 provinces and cities
