Nghe An focuses on fighting against black credit, drug and human trafficking crimes

According to the report, in June, the sectors in the Internal Affairs sector coordinated to implement many measures and plans, achieving many results in all aspects of work, especially the key tasks directed by the Provincial Party Standing Committee at the meeting last month.

Specifically, 72 cases of crimes against social order were discovered, killing 4 people, injuring 16 people, and causing total property damage of nearly 700 million VND; compared to the previous month, there were 2 fewer cases and 18 injuries. The authorities have investigated and clarified 61/72 cases, reaching 84.7%. Typically, the provincial police have investigated, clarified, and temporarily detained 2 suspects for the crime of usury in civil transactions, with an amount of usury loans of more than 10 billion VND, and illegal profits of more than 1.8 billion VND.

Detected and arrested 133 cases, 167 subjects (compared to the previous month, an increase of 9 cases, 12 subjects); seized 7.07 kg of heroin, 3 kg of crystal meth, 26.3 kg and 3,646 synthetic drug pills... In particular, the provincial police have dismantled 5 transnational drug trafficking lines. Regarding crimes and violations of economic and environmental laws, 256 cases and 260 subjects were detected and arrested.

During the month, there were 12 traffic accidents in the province, killing 7 people and injuring 6 people (compared to the previous month, there was a decrease of 1 case, 6 deaths and an increase of 1 injury). 79 cases were arrested, 277 gamblers were arrested, 550 million VND was collected (compared to the previous month, there were a decrease of 5 cases, 42 subjects). During the month, there were 3 fires (3 cases less than the previous month), causing property damage of 270 million VND.

The provincial police have received and resolved 347 reports; processed and resolved 209 reports. Prosecuted and investigated 312 cases, 548 defendants; completed the investigation and transferred to the People's Procuracy at all levels to propose prosecution of 290 cases, 527 defendants. Arrested and persuaded 15 wanted subjects to surrender, including 4 especially dangerous subjects hiding in the southern provinces.

Administrative inspections were conducted in 61 units at 193 units, of which 25 have been completed, of which 12 have issued conclusions. Through administrative inspections, 66/193 units were found to have violated with a total amount of 4,028 million VND; 2,308 million VND was recommended for recovery; 1,720 million VND was recommended for other cases. To date, 899 million VND has been recovered for the state budget. Specialized inspections were conducted in 162 cases, against 266 organizations and 1,210 individuals, thereby detecting 50 organizations and 300 individuals with violations.

At the conference, representatives of sectors in the Internal Affairs sector participated in discussions and gave opinions to continue effectively implementing key tasks in the coming time.

Accordingly, in the coming time, the sectors in the Internal Affairs sector will focus on coordinating and speeding up the resolution of cases and cases that were directed at the previous month's meetings, especially typical cases.

Strengthen the fight against and prevention of all types of crime, especially murder, intentional injury, robbery, snatching, human trafficking, and illegal credit; eradicate drug rings, strengthen management of drug smuggling across the border. Strengthen the prevention of smuggling, trade fraud, counterfeit goods, poor quality goods, and violations of food safety and hygiene. Strengthen fire prevention and fighting; prevent drowning in hot weather...
