Heavy rain on the afternoon of April 26 caused many areas of spring rice in Nghe An to collapse.

Mrs. Nguyen Thi Lan in the communeHung Hoa(Vinh City) sighed: "My family has 4 sao of spring rice, which will be harvested in about a month. However, the rain and strong winds yesterday afternoon caused nearly 2 sao to fall, and the yield will definitely decrease. Therefore, I am focusing on draining the water to avoid the rice being flooded for too long, causing heavy damage...".

The difficulty is that for fallen rice, harvesting by machine is impossible and farmers have to harvest by hand, so the time will be longer...".
