Nghe An: Focus on removing difficulties, creating conditions for business development

The report of the Department of Planning and Investment at the conference showed that in the second quarter of 2018, there were 9 recommendations from businesses in the province that needed to be resolved.

Specifically, businesses made recommendations on a number of issues such as: Land allocation to implement the project "Cua Con Residential, Tourism and Service Area"in Quynh Di ward, Hoang Mai town; Danatol Joint Stock Company branch in Nghe An proposed to handle the payment of the provincial budget debt for the Vinh Tan II Cua Tien Bridge project, Vinh City;the implementation of the Nhan Tam Social Protection Facility project in Vinh Tan ward, Vinh city; the plan to resolve the debt of tax collection, fines and late payment of VAT of the water supply project in the vicinity of Vinh city of Nghe An Water Supply Joint Stock Company; Vietnam - Laos Economic Cooperation Investment Joint Stock Company proposed the issue of payment for the renovation and upgrading project of Dien Chau district's Martyrs' Cemetery; Nghe An Enterprise Welfare Joint Stock Company proposed to allow enterprises to survey and establish an investment project for the construction of a non-fired brick factory in My Son commune, Do Luong district; continue to complete the dossier, soon invest in the Concrete Mixing Station Project in Hung Dong commune, Vinh city; outstanding debts of basic construction works and site clearance of basic construction works of Thanh Thanh Dat Company Limited; the introduction of investment locations of Halotexco Garment Joint Stock Company.

In carrying out the tasks assigned by the Provincial People's Committee, the Department of Planning and Investment shall preside over and coordinate with relevant departments, branches and localities to advise on resolving the petitions of enterprises.

As of July 10, 2018, the Department of Planning and Investment received responses from 7/8 units, including: Department of Construction, Department of Natural Resources and Environment, Department of Finance, Vinh City People's Committee, Hoang Mai Town People's Committee, Nghia Dan District People's Committee and Ky Son District People's Committee (Do Luong District People's Committee has not yet responded).

At the conference, representatives of departments, branches, associations and enterprises continued to discuss and consult on solutions to remove difficulties and problems that enterprises are concerned about such as: land allocation for project implementation, compensation for site clearance, payment of provincial budget debt, project dossier procedures...

Concluding the conference, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Ngoc HoaThe assessment of the current development situation of enterprises in the province is relatively good, however, there are still some enterprises owing taxes, insurance debts, etc.; at the same time, emphasizing that the province's policy is always to pay attention to solving difficulties of enterprises, especially in the current difficult context.

Directly responding to each suggestion and recommendation of the enterprises, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee proposed to withdraw the Nhan Tam social protection facility project in Vinh Tan ward, Vinh city. Vinh assigned the Land Auction Fund Center and the company with the right to participate in the auction; requested Halotexco Garment Joint Stock Company and Nghe An Welfare Joint Stock Company to find another location to implement the project; requested departments, branches and localities to balance the budget to pay the budget debt for Danatol Company, Vietnam-Laos Economic Cooperation Investment Joint Stock Company...

At the same time, direct relevant departments and branches to advise the Provincial People's Committee and coordinate with localities to promptly handle difficulties that enterprises are facing; create conditions for enterprises to continue implementing projects and promote production and business development.

Comrade Le Ngoc Hoa also requested that associations and business associations continue to grasp the situation of enterprises in a timely manner and synthesize recommendations and proposals to remove difficulties in policies and mechanisms, specific contents of investment projects, debts, finance, etc. to submit to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration and resolution./.
