Nghe An participates in Hanoi Traditional Craft Village Tourism Festival 2014
(Baonghean.vn) - From October 8 to 13, at Quan Ngua Sports Palace - Ba Dinh - Hanoi, Nghe An Tourism Promotion Information Center participated in the 2014 Hanoi Traditional Craft Village Tourism Festival.

Following the success of the 2013 Craft Village Tourism Festival, this year the Festival with the theme "Quintessence Convergence" was organized on a large scale and with many new features, attracting the participation of 366 booths, 194 units, including 42 typical traditional craft villages of Hanoi, 54 booths representing 22 provinces and cities across the country, 14 businesses and tourism organizations, 15 culinary units. The special feature of this year's Festival is the participation of Korea and Malaysia with 15 Korean culinary booths and 4 booths of the Malaysian Tourism Promotion Agency with many attractive craft demonstrations and folk games. Lasting until October 12, exhibition activities at booths; demonstrations at craft village booths; folk games; Korean and Vietnamese culinary areas will be held throughout all days of the Festival.
Participating in this Festival, Nghe An Tourism focuses on promoting and introducing the image of tourist destinations combined with some typical traditional craft villages and products of Nghe An such as: Nam Dan soy sauce, Hai Giang fish sauce, Van Phan Dien Chau fish sauce...; displaying leaflets, brochures, publications, craft village tourism programs, tourist maps, tourist film discs... Introducing images, supporting processing tools, craft village products of Nghe An, instructions on the process of making soy sauce, processing fish sauce...
This is an opportunity for Nghe An to promote and introduce tourism products and services, especially traditional craft villages of Nghe An, to actively contribute to exploiting the values of traditional craft villages to develop tourism in the province. In addition, this is also an opportunity for localities and businesses to exchange, learn from experiences, promote the brands of local traditional craft village products, tourism programs combined with visits to traditional craft villages, survey tourism routes to build new tourism products, etc.
