Taking place over 4 days (from March 26 to March 29, 2015), Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Festival 2015 has many rich activities such as: Photo exhibition "Ho Chi Minh City Tourism - 40 years of formation and development"; "Vietnam's natural and cultural heritage" recognized by UNESCO; art and culture; Martial arts performance program to celebrate the 69th anniversary of Vietnam Sports Day, performance of amateur music, Nghe Tinh Vi Giam folk songs, Golden Voice Festival of the City's tourism industry...
The festival has the participation of more than 40 travel agencies, hotels and universities, along with 36 provincial and municipal units with 150 booths. In particular, there is the participation of localities with world heritages recognized by UNESCO: Hanoi, Thua Thien Hue, Quang Ninh, Quang Binh, Thanh Hoa, Ninh Binh... and Nghe An.
This is an opportunity to promote and introduce the image and tourism products of Nghe An province to a large number of domestic and foreign tourists, contributing to promoting the market of southern tourists to Nghe An, enhancing cultural exchange, promoting and introducing Nghe Tinh Vi and Giam folk songs as a representative intangible cultural heritage of humanity to a large number of people and tourists participating in the Festival (through a 30-minute art program performing Nghe Tinh Vi and Giam folk songs on the main stage). Within the framework of the Festival, the Nghe An delegation also has a working program with Saigon Tourist Corporation - Saigontourist and surveys some neighboring tourist routes such as the rural tourism model in Cu Chi, Binh Chau hot spring resort, etc.
