Nghe An: 30 more villages will have national grid electricity before the Lunar New Year 2022
(Baonghean.vn) - According to information from Nghe An Electricity Company, as of January 28, 2022, 30 more villages in Nghe An will have access to grid electricity before the Lunar New Year 2022.

According to Decision No. 2095/QD-BCT, there will be 49 more villages, hamlets, and residential clusters in 26 communes of 7 districts: Con Cuong, Tuong Duong, Ky Son, Que Phong, Quy Chau, Quy Hop, and Thanh Chuong to invest in building energy projects, level IV, group B.
The investment implementation period is 2021; the construction estimate is over 173.2 billion VND; the investment capital is from the Central Budget capital plan allocated in 2021 and the investor's capital (EVNNPC).

Regarding the scale of the project, for the medium voltage line section, a new 35kW overhead line will be built with a total length of 106.305km; for the transformer station section, 44 new stations will be built with a total capacity of 2,850.5 kVA; a new low voltage line will be built after the transformer stations with a total length of 103.184km; and 4,043 new meters will be installed. Each household in the villages will be installed with an electric panel, a light bulb and a connecting wire from the meter to the household.

Pursuant to Decision No. 2095/QD-BCT,Nghe An Electricity CompanyPlan, determine to complete construction, and implement electricity connection so that people in 49 villages, hamlets, and residential areas can use the national grid during the Lunar New Year.
Although the staff and workers of the Electricity sector have made great efforts, many villages, hamlets and residential areas are geographically remote, with extremely complex terrain and weather; in addition, in these areas, the construction of power lines must pass through natural forests, requiring conversion to other uses according to regulations. Therefore, by January 28, 2022, Nghe An Electricity Company has been able to connect electricity to 30 villages, hamlets and residential areas.

According to the representative of Nghe An Electricity Company, the authorities at all levels and related departments and branches are very interested in bringing national grid electricity to remote villages and hamlets. However, the conversion of natural forest use purposes must be carried out in accordance with the procedures and regulations of the law. Therefore, people in the remaining villages, hamlets and residential areas will have to delay the time of using national grid electricity for about 60 days.
