(Baonghean.vn) - This is one of the requirements in the plan to ensure traffic order and safety in the province in 2018, which has just been issued by the Provincial People's Committee.

Accordingly, the Provincial People's Committee requested the Provincial Police to direct the strengthening of patrols and controls, focusing on mobile patrols to handle violations throughout the province; direct the mobilization of commune-level police forces to strengthen control, detect and prevent violations by users of motorbikes, electric motorbikes, electric bicycles, not wearing helmets and other violations that lead to traffic accidents.
The Provincial People's Committee also requested the Public Security sector to strengthen inspection, examination, and strictly handle violations by public servants while on duty.
Along with that, the provincial police need to increase the application of high technology and professional technical equipment to detect and handle violations of traffic safety and order; violations of transport business vehicles violating traffic lanes and routes, carrying more passengers than prescribed, violating regulations on speed, driving time, passenger pick-up and drop-off locations, etc.; strictly handle violations of traffic safety and order, and resisting law enforcement officers.
In particular, the plan of the Provincial People's Committee clearly states: "Implement the notification of violations to the place of residence, agency, and place where cadres and party members work and live".
The provincial police are also required to coordinate with relevant departments to advise the provincial People's Committee to issue regulations on handling prohibited vehicles; items, machinery, equipment, business tools, advertising signs... placed to encroach on traffic corridors and urban sidewalks in the first quarter of 2018.
The Provincial People's Committee also requested the Provincial Police to organize propaganda, dissemination and education of laws on traffic safety and order in conjunction with patrolling, controlling and handling violations; deploying the campaign to build the movement "Traffic culture with river peace" in conjunction with implementing Directive 23/CT-TTg dated July 5, 2016 of the Prime Minister.
On the other hand, the Provincial People's Committee also requested the industry to develop management software for statistics, reporting and sharing of traffic accident data to unify management and provide data related to traffic accidents, avoiding overlap and discrepancies in the second quarter of 2018; direct forces to strengthen coordination with the Transport Inspectorate to organize the control and prevention of vehicle load violations on roads according to the Project approved by the Provincial People's Committee.
The Provincial People's Committee also requested the Provincial Police to strengthen political and ideological education, management of officers and soldiers in observing discipline, building ethics, lifestyle, behavioral culture, responsibility in assigned work; foster professional knowledge, law, capacity to perform public duties, communication and behavioral skills for officers and soldiers of the Traffic Police force when interacting with the people.
