*The Le Mao extended road project, starting from the intersection with Tran Phu extended road to Vinh river, was started in 2008 but stopped after completing 1-2 km. Since then, 28 households in Block 2 Tan Phuong (Vinh Tan ward)always insecure because of floods, dilapidated houses.
According to residents, before the Handico 30 New Urban Area project and Le Mao Street, the area of Block 2 Tan Phuong was rarely flooded because it was close to Vinh River and the surrounding terrain was lower. However, since the construction of Le Mao Street and the surrounding housing projects, the area from the current extension of Le Mao Street to Vinh River, nearly 400 m, has become a deep depression, like a bag of wastewater every time it rains.
According to research, although the previous survey was 28 households, after more than 10 years, the number of households has increased so it is necessary to survey and count again. Therefore, the estimated resettlement land fund for this area is about 16,000m2.2and Vinh Tan ward currently has no such position so the city is searching.
