Nghe An: Highlights of December 13th

* On the morning of December 13th,The Steering Committee reviews the implementation of Resolution No. 18.- Resolution No. 18 dated October 15, 2017, of the 12th Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam on "Some issues concerning the continued reform and restructuring of the political system's organizational apparatus to be streamlined, effective, and efficient" organized its first conference to discuss some contents regarding the organization of the summary of Resolution No. 18 in the near future.

Speaking at the conference, Provincial Party Secretary and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung emphasized: "We recognize this as an exceptionally important task, a major revolution, so we must have a high degree of unity in awareness and action throughout the entire political system, from the province to the grassroots, first and foremost among the officials, Party committees, leaders, and heads of departments."

* On the morning of December 13th,Steering Committee for mobilizing support for the construction and repair of houses for the poor and those with housing difficulties.In Nghe An province, during the period 2023-2025, the Steering Committee 1838 held a meeting to evaluate the results of implementation in 2024 and set directions for tasks in 2025.

In 2024, the entire province supported the construction and repair of 3,347 houses. To date, the province has supported the construction and repair of 11,787 houses, including 3,590 prefabricated houses; 6,298 newly built houses; and 1,899 repaired houses, reaching 75% of the needs for the entire 2023-2025 period compared to the initial program approval, and 66.36% of the needs arising as of December 10, 2024.

In his directive speech, Provincial Party Secretary and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung highly appreciated the serious, frank, and responsible self-criticism of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Border Guard Party Committee; and at the same time emphasized and clarified the results of the Standing Committee's leadership and direction in various fields.

* On the afternoon of December 13th, the Standing Committee of the Nghia Dan District Party Committee organized...Conference for collective and individual performance reviewThe Standing Committee of the District Party Committee in 2024. Comrade Hoang Nghia Hieu - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, attended and directed the conference.

Speaking at the conference, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Council requested that the Standing Committee of the Nghia Dan District Party Committee continue to promote the spirit of solidarity and cooperation, setting a good example, especially for the leaders. They should develop specific plans to overcome limitations, review and inspect programs, plans, and projects comprehensively; utilize internal resources and mobilize other resources to achieve the goals and targets set forth in the District Party Congress Resolution.

* On the morning of December 13th, in Vinh City, the Nghe An Provincial Police coordinated with the People's Police Academy.Organizing a scientific conference"Theory and practice of building drug-free border communes adjacent to Laos."

The workshop attracted 70 presentations from delegates, focusing on assessing the current situation and the complex causes of drug-related crime at the border.
