Nghe An: Highlights of November 14th

* At 3 PM on November 13th (local time),Peruvian President Dina Ercilia Boluarte Zegarra presided over the solemn welcoming ceremony for Vietnamese President Luong Cuong.Together with the high-level Vietnamese delegation, we are on an official visit to the Republic of Peru at the Casa de Pizarro Presidential Palace in Lima.
President Luong Cuong's official visit to Peru coincides with the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries (November 14, 1994 – November 14, 2024). This is an important milestone, reflecting the positive development of bilateral relations from the political-diplomatic to economic-trade fields, and represents a historic opportunity and impetus to further deepen the friendship and cooperation between the two countries.

* On the afternoon of November 14th, Comrade Nguyen Duc Trung - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - presided over the meeting.Special session of the Provincial People's Committee, November 2024To listen to and provide feedback on draft reports and draft resolutions submitted to the Provincial People's Council.
At the meeting, the Provincial People's Committee listened to and commented on the draft reports for 2024 on administrative reform; practicing thrift and combating waste; ensuring traffic safety and order; preventing and combating corruption and negative practices; receiving citizens and resolving complaints and denunciations; and preventing and combating crime and violations of the law.
The Provincial People's Committee also listened to and commented on the draft report for 2024 on the results of implementing the National Target Program for New Rural Development; the National Target Program for Sustainable Poverty Reduction; compliance with policies and laws on occupational safety and hygiene; results of implementing children's rights and resolving issues related to children; and the reform of the general education curriculum and textbooks.

* November 14th,Nghe An Ethnic Boarding Vocational School held its opening ceremony for the new school year..
To date, the Nghe An Ethnic Boarding Vocational School is one of 18 specialized schools nationwide providing vocational training for ethnic minorities; it has been selected as a key vocational school, tasked with providing intermediate and basic level vocational training, as well as job counseling and placement services for workers, contributing to the socio-economic development of the southwestern mountainous districts of the province.

* After a long period of fieldwork in the deep forests and high mountains, the team of officials from the Nghe An Department of Science and TechnologyPuxailaileng ginseng has been found in the wild.and brought them back for experimental cultivation in Tay Son commune (Ky Son district).
Puxailaileng ginseng is a rare and precious type of ginseng belonging to the Araliaceae family, found in the high mountains of Puxailaileng in the Truong Son mountain range, where forest cover exceeds 80%. Currently, Puxailaileng ginseng in the wild is becoming increasingly scarce and is facing the risk of extinction.

* On November 14th, a delegation from the Provincial People's Committee, led by Mr. Phan Huy Chuong - Deputy Head of the Provincial Traffic Safety Committee, visited...Visiting and offering condolences to 10 families whose members died in traffic accidents.people in particularly difficult circumstances in Hung Nguyen and Nghia Dan districts.
This is an annual activity of the Provincial Traffic Safety Committee, as part of the activities in response to "World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims".
