Attending the ceremony from Nghe An province were: Thai Thanh Quy - Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; and Nguyen Duc Trung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

Representing the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism were: Mr. Pham Dinh Phong - Deputy Director of the Department of Heritage; and Mr. Vi Thanh Hoai - Deputy Director of the Department of Grassroots Culture.

The Nine-Compartment Temple was built around the late 14th and early 15th centuries, coinciding with the migration and settlement of the Thai people in western Nghe An province. It served as a center of spiritual and cultural activity for the people of the nine villages and ten districts of the former Phu Quy region; a place that preserved, transmitted, and connected the unique cultural values ​​of the Thai people.

The Nine-Room Temple has just been recognized as a National Historical Monument by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in Decision No. 963/QD-BVHTTDL dated March 14, 2023.

This is not only an honor and expression of gratitude for the contributions of the deities who founded the villages and settlements, but also an affirmation of the cultural values ​​being preserved; at the same time, it establishes a higher legal basis for preserving, protecting, and sustainably promoting the value of the relics.

Tam Hop village was formed by merging three villages: Ta Pan, Bo, and D2. The village has 177 households with 908 inhabitants, belonging to the Mong, Khmu, and Thai ethnic groups. The poverty rate here remains high, with 133 households (75% of the population) classified as poor and 25 households classified as near-poor (14% of the population).

Implementing the program to mobilize support for building houses for the poor and those with housing difficulties in Nghe An province from 2023 to 2025, Que Phong district received support for the construction of 398 houses (of which, 198 were from the Ministry of Public Security and 200 from the Provincial Police). To date, the construction of 398 houses has been basically completed, with 109 houses built in the border commune of Tri Le.

Expressing his joy and excitement at attending this meaningful event in Tam Hop village, Tri Le commune, Que Phong district, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung also requested the Provincial Police to continue focusing on directing and implementing the construction of 2,820 houses for which the Ministry of Public Security and the Provincial Police have mobilized funding, with the goal of completing them by August 19th.

In addition, many sponsors, after being introduced to the house model built by the Provincial Police, agreed to implement it exactly as designed. Therefore, Comrade Nguyen Duc Trung suggested that the Provincial Police continue to work together with sponsors so that more sturdy houses can be given to poor households and households with housing difficulties.

*For many years now, every time it rains, many households living along National Highway 7 in Block 4 (Muong Xen town, Ky Son district) have had to pack up and flee to find shelter.

Notably, this area recently received nearly 50 billion VND in investment for landslide remediation. However, every time it rains, soil and rocks from the mountain still overflow the embankment and fall onto residential areas. According to the reporter's observations, many sections of the gabion embankment have been breached by soil and rocks after the most recent rain.
