Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee hands over houses to the poor in the border commune of Tri Le, Que Phong
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of April 15, the Steering Committee for mobilizing and supporting the construction of houses for the poor and people with housing difficulties in Nghe An province in the period of 2023 - 2025 held the inauguration ceremony and handed over houses to the poor in Tri Le commune, Que Phong district.

Attending the program were comrades: Nguyen Duc Trung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Steering Committee for Mobilizing and Supporting the Construction of Houses for the Poor and People with Housing Difficulties in the Province; members of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee: Vo Thi Minh Sinh - Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An Province, Deputy Head of the Provincial Steering Committee; Major General Pham The Tung - Director of the Provincial Police; Colonel Phan Dai Nghia - Commander of the Provincial Military Command; Pham Trong Hoang - Chief of the Provincial Party Committee Office. Also attending were comrade Nguyen Nhu Khoi - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Executive Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; leaders of a number of departments, branches and Que Phong district.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung and provincial leaders attended the inauguration ceremony and handed over houses to 11 extremely disadvantaged households in Tam Hop highland village, Tri Le commune; including many single-parent families and families with serious illnesses who are unable to build houses.
Tam Hop village was merged from 3 villages: Ta Pan, Bo village and D2 village. The village has 177 households with 908 people of Mong, Kho Mu and Thai ethnic groups. The poverty rate here is still high with 133 households, accounting for 75% of the population and 25 near-poor households, accounting for 14% of the population.

In recent years, with the attention of the Party, the State and Nghe An province, many programs and projects have been invested in the area to build infrastructure such as: power grid, roads, schools, medical stations and varieties of plants and animals.
Therefore, the material and spiritual life of the people here is increasingly improved, the appearance of the highland village has changed a lot. The support, construction and handover of houses to 11 households of the village has contributed positively to the poverty reduction in the locality.

Implementing the program to mobilize and support the construction of houses for the poor and people with housing difficulties in Nghe An province in the period of 2023 - 2025, Que Phong district was supported to build 398 houses (of which, 198 houses were from the Ministry of Public Security; 200 houses were from the Provincial Police). Up to now, 398 houses have been basically completed, and Tri Le border commune alone was supported to build 109 houses.
Speaking at the house handover ceremony, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung emphasized that the provincial leaders highly appreciated and warmly commended the participation of all forces and people of Que Phong district in the process of implementing the program to mobilize support for building houses for poor households and households with housing difficulties.

Expressing his joy and excitement at the meaningful event in Tam Hop village, Tri Le commune, Que Phong district, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung also requested the Provincial Police to continue to focus on directing and implementing the construction of 2,820 houses that the Ministry of Public Security and the Provincial Police have mobilized funding to support, with the goal of completion by August 19.
In addition, many sponsors, after being introduced to the house model built by the Provincial Police, agreed to follow the design. Therefore, comrade Nguyen Duc Trung suggested that the Provincial Police continue to join hands with sponsors so that more and more solid houses can be given to poor households and households with housing difficulties.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also requested the Party Committees and authorities of districts, communes, villages and hamlets to focus on implementing this program effectively, considering it a key and regular political task of the locality, paying synchronous attention, mobilizing the participation of the entire political system and all classes of people.
“We strive to basically eliminate makeshift, dilapidated houses in 3 years, helping people have stable housing. During this process, we request that comrades pay attention to propaganda and mobilization work so that people understand and actively accompany the forces,” Comrade Nguyen Duc Trung emphasized.

As the Standing Agency, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province needs to preside over and coordinate with all levels, sectors, localities, and the Fatherland Front at all levels to effectively implement the program to mobilize support for house construction for poor households and households with housing difficulties.
For Que Phong district, it is recommended that district leaders continue to review and implement, and complete the construction of houses for households eligible for housing support.
Congratulating the households in Tam Hop village on receiving their new solid houses, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee hopes that the households will soon stabilize their lives, rise out of poverty and gradually accompany, spread, share and support other poor households and households in difficult circumstances; together and with authorities at all levels, effectively implement the program to mobilize support for building houses for poor households and households with housing difficulties.

In particular, for Nghe An Provincial Police, closely following the leadership and direction of the Ministry of Public Security and Nghe An Province on the synchronous implementation of measures to ensure security and order associated with the implementation of social security programs; in particular, with the goal of building a drug-free border commune, moving towards building a drug-free district-level unit associated with ensuring security, order and poverty reduction, Nghe An Provincial Police proactively reported, proposed and received approval from the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security to mobilize and support the construction of 1,420 houses for poor households and households with housing difficulties in 27 border communes.
In addition, the Economic Police Department, Ministry of Public Security has mobilized support to build 400 houses and the Provincial Police have mobilized benefactors to support the construction of 1,000 gratitude houses for poor households and households with difficult housing circumstances in communes of 3 border districts: Ky Son, Tuong Duong and Que Phong.
Up to now, all stages and procedures have been completed and put into simultaneous implementation; of which, 1,832 house foundations have been built. After 45 days of implementation, with the determination and highest efforts of the police force from the province to the grassroots level, the cooperation and consensus of the entire political system, especially the three districts of Tuong Duong, Ky Son, and Que Phong, 1,500 houses for the poor in the border districts have been basically completed. Thus, the construction and handover of houses to the poor in the three districts of Tuong Duong, Ky Son, and Que Phong from the source supported by the provincial police has been basically completed.
With the highest determination, the Provincial Police force will coordinate with localities to complete the construction of 2,820 houses before August 19, 2023 to practically celebrate the 78th anniversary of the August Revolution, National Day September 2 and the founding day of the People's Police Force.
