Previously, the delegation of Thanh Hoa province visited and presented gifts to officials and people of Hung Trung commune, Hung Nguyen district. This is one of the areas recently affected by flooding in Nghe An province. Here, the delegation presented more than 2 tons of rice, more than 200 boxes of instant noodles, 500 sets of clothes and 5 gifts, each worth 2 million VND, to 5 affected households.

In Yen Thanh district, the district’s education sector also suffered losses of more than 700 million VND during the recent flood. At this time, 3 kindergartens, primary schools and secondary schools in Long Thanh commune are still flooded and students cannot return to school.
Thanh Chuong is one of the districts that suffered heavy damage with a total cost of over 900 million VND. Up to this point, there are still about 60 schools that are flooded or isolated, so students have not returned to school yet...

The damage caused by storm No. 9 and this flood in Thanh Chuong district was enormous. In the whole district, 4 people were swept away by the flood, 3 people were injured, with broken arms and legs, thousands of households were evacuated due to flooding, hundreds of households were affected by landslides, 34 houses had their walls collapsed, trees crushed, and roofs blown off; 1,400 hectares of crops, 46,000 poultry and hundreds of pigs died; 8 bridges were swept away.
Many roads were seriously eroded. In particular, Nguoc mountain was severely eroded, thousands of meters3Earth and rocks filled the road, completely blocking Highway 46.
Regarding the flood aftermath in the area, Mr. Trinh Van Nha - Chairman of Thanh Chuong District People's Committee said: The district requests localities to clean up as the water recedes, and to clean up the environment after the flood. Mobilize existing forces to coordinate with military and police forces in the province to carry out activities to support people. Pay attention to helping families with preferential policies, single parents, and those in special circumstances...
