* Resolution No. 1243/NQ-UBTVQH15 onArrangement of administrative units at district and commune levels of Nghe An provinceThe 2023-2025 period has just been signed by National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man, effective from December 1, 2024.
Previously, in the working session on the afternoon of October 24, with 100% of votes in favor, the National Assembly Standing Committee unanimously approved the Resolutions on the arrangement of district and commune-level administrative units for the 2023-2025 period of 21 provinces and cities, including Nghe An province.
After the reorganization, Nghe An reduced 1 district-level administrative unit and 48 commune-level administrative units.

* From December 1, 2024, Cua Lo town will officially no longer be a district-level administrative unit of Nghe An, butwill merge and become part of Vinh city..
Resolution No. 1243/NQ-UBTVQH15 of the National Assembly Standing Committee resolves:
Enter total natural area is 29.09 km2, the population size of Cua Lo town is 77,813 people and the total natural area is 6.17 km2, the population size is 11,884 people of Nghi Xuan commune; the total natural area is 6.12 km2, the population size is 10,409 people of Phuc Tho commune; the total natural area is 9.50 km22, the population size is 11,006 people of Nghi Thai commune and the total natural area is 10.35 km2, population size is 11,831 people of Nghi Phong commune, Nghi Loc district in Vinh city.

* Currently, the Department of Transport has accelerated the completion of the remaining items on the route.Vinh - Cua Lo Avenue, expected to be completed in November 2024, will then adjust the permitted speed of vehicles traveling on the route.
Vinh - Cua Lo Boulevard is the largest and most modern road in Nghe An province, officially opened to traffic at the end of August 2024. After 2 months of use, many people commented that the maximum allowed speed of 50km/h is quite low for such a large road, traffic jams still occur on weekends.

On October 15, 2024, Permanent Vice Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee Le Hong Vinh issued Decision No. 163/QDD-XPHC, imposing administrative sanctions on Thien Hoang Equipment Joint Stock Company (headquartered in Cua Lo Town).
