*Morning of December 2,Standing Committee of Nghe An Provincial People's Council held a press conferenceAnnounce the time, location, content and agenda of the 11th session of the 18th Provincial People's Council.

The 11th session is scheduled to take place over 2.5 days (from December 7 to December 9, 2022) at the Vinh City Convention Center, No. 25, Le Mao Street, Vinh City. In this regular year-end session, in addition to reviewing reports, discussing in groups, discussing in the hall and considering and approving draft resolutions, the Provincial People's Council will conduct a question-and-answer session, scheduled for the afternoon of December 8.

At this session, the Provincial People's Council plans to review and evaluate 34 reports on the implementation of socio-economic development plans, public investment, and implementation of National Target Programs; Report on the 2022 work results of the Standing Committee, Provincial People's Council Committees, Provincial People's Committee, Provincial People's Court, Provincial People's Procuracy, Provincial Civil Judgment Enforcement Agency; review and approve 19 draft resolutions.

The Provincial People's Council will question two groups of issues: Prevention and overcoming of consequences caused by natural disasters, management and operation of hydroelectric and irrigation reservoirs during the flood season; The arrangement of counterpart funds of the province to implement programs, projects and investment policies in ethnic minority areas.

*The Provincial People's Committee has just issuedNotice of Conclusion of the Chairman of the Provincial People's CommitteeNguyen Duc Trung at the regular meeting of the Provincial People's Committee in November 2022.

The Conclusion Notice stated that the growth rate of the province's gross regional domestic product (GRDP) in 2022 is estimated at 9.05%; of which, the agriculture, forestry and fishery sector is estimated to increase by 4.77%; the industry and construction sector is estimated to increase by 10.68%; the service sector is estimated to increase by 10.78%; product taxes minus product subsidies are estimated to increase by 3.08%. State budget revenue is estimated at VND 20,350 billion, up 35.7% compared to the estimate and equal to 101.8% compared to 2021; of which, domestic revenue is estimated at VND 19,000 billion, revenue from import and export activities is estimated at VND 1,350 billion. Total import and export turnover is estimated at 3.68 billion USD, of which export turnover is estimated at 2.49 billion USD, up 2.55% compared to 2021. As of November 15, 2022, the total newly granted and adjusted capital is 41,614 trillion VND, up 50.91% over the same period in 2021.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also directed departments, branches and sectors to focus on implementing tasks in December, striving to achieve targets from now until the end of the year.

*Recently, despite difficulties in gasoline and oil supply, in the areaNghe An still ensures stable supply of gasoline and oil, especially providing enough fuel for ships to go out to sea to exploit aquatic and seafood products.

Mr. Nguyen Van Huong - Director of Nghe An Market Management Department said: To ensure supply and stabilize the gasoline and oil market in the area, the Market Management Department regularly coordinates with localities, closely monitors the sale of gasoline and oil at gasoline and oil retail stores in the area, and does not allow the situation of stopping sales without a valid reason.

There is no longer a situation of exchanging or returning train tickets like in previous years.

For passengers traveling by car or inter-provincial bus, bus companies have now begun to announce ticket prices for Tet for passengers to refer to. Many bus companies also have promotional programs for ticket prices if customers book early during the first sale period.

Mr. Hoang Van Thu - Director of Vinh Airport said: Currently, airlines with flight schedules at Vinh Airport all have programs to increase flights to serve people returning home for Tet in the coming time. If on normal days, Vinh Airport has about 50 flights taking off and landing, during Tet it will increase to about 100 flights taking off and landing, serving over 10,000 passengers per day.
