Nghe An: Highlights of June 2nd

*On the morning of June 2nd, continuing the work program of the 3rd Session (15th National Assembly),The National Assembly continued its discussions in the plenary session.Regarding the results of implementing the Socio-Economic Development Plan and the State Budget in 2021; summarizing the implementation of Resolution No. 42/2017/QH14 on piloting the handling of bad debts of credit institutions.

Speaking at the discussion session, responding to comments from several delegates regarding textbooks, Professor and Doctor Thai Van Thanh from the Nghe An delegation assessed: The Ministry of Education and Training has directed the education sector and educational institutions to implement the 2018 General Education Program in a comprehensive, systematic, and scientific manner, in accordance with the directives of the Party, the National Assembly, and the Government.

In the afternoon, Delegate Vo Thi Minh Sinh from Nghe An Province proposed that the Government urgently review, supplement, and improve the institutional framework for preventing corruption, waste, and negative practices; especially the mechanism for controlling power in easily accessible areas of operation.Corruption and malpractice arise.

* On the morning of June 2nd, the inspection team from the Ministry of Education and Training, which is certifying Nghe An province as having achieved Level 3 universal primary education standards, held a working session with the Steering Committee for Universal Education and Literacy Eradication of Nghe An province. Based on the inspection and survey results, Nghe An province...as requested by the working group.The Minister of Education and Training recognized this as the 25th province nationwide to achieve Level 3 universal primary education standards.

*State budget revenueIn Nghe An province, the estimated revenue for the first five months reached 8,523 billion VND, achieving 56.8% of the projected target and 99.4% compared to the same period in 2021. To complete the 2022 budget revenue plan, the Tax Department needs to urgently review, analyze, evaluate, and forecast factors affecting budget revenue in the province, identify revenue reductions due to objective factors, clarify remaining revenue losses, identify potential revenue sources, and organize budget revenue management to ensure sustainability and a rational revenue structure, especially revenue from the production and business sector, and revenue from the non-state industrial, commercial, and service sectors.
