Nghe An: Highlights of March 24th

* On the morning of March 24th,The People's Committee of Nghe An province held its regular meeting.The meeting, scheduled for March 2026, aimed to assess the implementation of socio-economic development tasks in the first quarter, discuss and propose key tasks and solutions for the second quarter of 2026, and consider matters within the province's authority. Comrade Vo Trong Hai, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, presided over the meeting. The session was held in person at the Provincial People's Committee headquarters and online with 130 communes and wards throughout the province.

* On the afternoon of March 24th,The Department of Health organized a ceremony to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the establishment of the health sector.(March 23, 1946 - March 23, 2026) and the launch of the Digital Health Information Portal. Attending the ceremony were: Mr. Hoang Nghia Hieu - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Mr. Vo Trong Hai - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Ms. Vo Thi Minh Sinh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, and Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation.

* On the morning of March 24th,Steering Committee for "Effective Mass Mobilization" in Nghe An ProvinceThe meeting adopted operational regulations, assigned tasks, and agreed on the key work program for 2026. Comrade Vo Thi Minh Sinh – Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, and Head of the Provincial Steering Committee for "Effective Mass Mobilization" – requested strengthening government mass mobilization work and promoting the implementation of political tasks.

* On the afternoon of March 24th, under the chairmanship of Comrade Bui Thanh An - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee,The Provincial People's Committee organized a working session.To listen, assess, and resolve difficulties, and to accelerate the implementation progress of the Hoang Mai II Industrial Park Project.

* The working group of the Nghe An Provincial People's Committee, led by Comrade Phung Thanh Vinh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, held a working meeting with Dong Nai province andOn-site survey at the Nhon Trach 3 and 4 LNG Thermal Power Plant Project.The activity aims to study practical situations and learn from experience to support the advisory work for the implementation of the Quynh Lap LNG Thermal Power Project in Nghe An.

*Entrance exam for 10th grade in the 2026-2027 school yearIn Nghe An, there will be many changes compared to the previous school year. Notably, students taking the 10th grade entrance exam will be allowed to register for 4 preferences and will not be able to change their preferences after the exam, unlike in previous years.
