Nghe An: Highlights on June 24

*On the morning of June 24, on the last working day of the 5th session,The 15th National Assembly passed the Lawamending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Exit and Entry of Vietnamese Citizens and the Law on Entry, Exit, Transit and Residence of Foreigners in Vietnam with 470/475 National Assembly deputies participating in the vote in favor, equal to 95.14% of the total number of National Assembly deputies; effective from August 15, 2023.

*On the morning of June 24, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of Nghe An Provincial Business Bloc organized2023 specialized study and research conference“Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style on culture and building a new socialist culture to meet the requirements of integration and development” and the work “Resolutely and persistently fighting against corruption and negativity, contributing to building our Party and State increasingly clean and strong” by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong.

The conference was held in person and online at 75 points in clusters and grassroots Party organizations with the participation of more than 4,000 cadres and Party members.

*"Pink Holiday" volunteer campaignIn 2023, Nghe An will be deployed simultaneously throughout the province to promote the spirit of volunteerism and initiative of union members and youth. Focus on the following contents: Deploying consulting, support and guiding teams to register, activate electronic identification and perform online public services, online payments, and administrative procedures for the people; Organizing legal propaganda in residential areas; Transferring science and technology locally; social security activities, gratitude, and caring for children in difficult circumstances.

*At 1:30 p.m. on June 24, in Lam Thang village, a concrete tanker truck was traveling through Lim bridge in the direction of National Highway 46 - Lam Thang, when suddenlythe bridge collapsed, causing the tanker truck to get stuck in the middle of the ditch.
