Nghe An: Highlights of September 27th

* On the afternoon of September 27th,delegation of the Party Committee of Military Region 4We had a working meeting with the Military Party Committee of Nghe An province.

The working session aimed to review and assess the Party's activities and political work during the first nine months of 2024, as well as the preparations for the Party congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term.

Lieutenant General Tran Vo Dung - Secretary of the Party Committee and Political Commissar of Military Region 4 - acknowledged and highly appreciated the comprehensive results and outstanding achievements in many areas of work by the Party Committee of the Military Command of Nghe An province.

The Political Commissar of Military Region 4 requested that from now until the end of the year, the Provincial Military Party Committee effectively implement the contents according to the goals and plans for 2024 to continue achieving high results in the Military Region's "Determined to Win" emulation movement; this is the result of preparing to receive the title of "Hero of the People's Armed Forces in the Renovation Period".

* On the morning of September 27th,The Standing Committee of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee held its regular meeting.September 2024.

At the meeting, under the direction of Provincial Party Secretary Thai Thanh Quy, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee gave its opinion on the draft plan for building a regional innovation and startup center in the North Central region.

During the meeting, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee discussed selecting a model for the North Central Region Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center in Nghe An that is suitable to the actual conditions and situation, so that it can achieve the highest efficiency when put into operation.

* Also at the meeting, the Standing Committee of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee unanimously agreed on the principle of issuing a Resolution toTo develop Dien Chau district into a town as soon as possible..

According to Resolution No. 39-NQ/TW dated July 18, 2023, of the Politburo and the Nghe An Provincial Planning for the period 2021-2025, with a vision to 2050, Dien Chau is identified as one of the six central urban areas of Nghe An province.

In July 2023, the Standing Committee of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee approved the Planning Project for the Dien Chau District area, Nghe An province, for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050.

* According to the Department of Planning and Investment, the determinationdisbursement of public investment fundsAs one of the key political tasks for 2024, from the beginning of the year, the Provincial People's Committee has decisively directed all levels and sectors to implement many solutions to accelerate the disbursement progress.

As of September 20th, the total public investment plan for 2024 in Nghe An province has disbursed 5,022 billion VND, reaching 54.14%.

* On the afternoon of September 27th, the working group led by Comrade Óot Phong-xa-Vằn, Vice Chairman (non-executive)Central Committee of the Lao FrontThe nation-building leadership visited and worked with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province.

During the meeting, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province provided a general overview of the province's economic and social development and the work of the Fatherland Front in the past period.

* On the afternoon of September 27th,Provincial National Assembly DelegationOrganized a conference to gather feedback on the draft amendments to the Law on Value Added Tax and the Law on Special Consumption Tax.

At the conference, delegates offered their opinions on matters related to these laws.

* Criminal Investigation Department, Nghe An Provincial PoliceThe suspect has just been arrested.Nguyen Thi Thoan (born 1992), residing in Dong Van commune, Thanh Chuong district, is charged with "Fraudulent appropriation of property" through joint capital contribution for real estate investment.

Nguyen Thi Thoan embezzled 7.2 billion VND through a scam involving raising capital for real estate investment.
