Nghe An: Highlights of July 29th

*On the morning of July 29, at the Presidential Palace, Politburo member and President Nguyen Xuan Phuc, Chairman of the National Defense and Security Council, presided over the meeting.Second session of the National Defence and Security Council for the 2021-2026 term.

At the meeting, the Council discussed and provided feedback on the Russia-Ukraine conflict situation and its impact on Vietnam; the prevention and suppression of plots and activities against the Party and State by hostile and reactionary forces; solutions for preventing and responding to challenges to food security and water security; and ensuring financial and monetary security in the current situation.

*On the morning of July 29th, the Central Steering Committee for National Target Programs giai đoạn 2021-2025 held an online conference with localities on...Results of the implementation of national target programs in the first six months of the year.and solutions for implementation in the last six months of the year; addressing some difficulties and obstacles in the implementation process. Comrade Pham Binh Minh - Member of the Political Bureau, Standing Deputy Prime Minister, Head of the Steering Committee - presided over the meeting.

Speaking at the conference, Deputy Prime Minister Pham Binh Minh emphasized that from the end of 2021 to the present, many mechanisms, policies, and legal frameworks for implementing the three national target programs have been issued by the National Assembly, the Government, and various ministries and agencies.

Comrade Pham Binh Minh also requested that localities from the provincial to the district and commune levels establish Steering Committees to implement the three National Target Programs. Central ministries and agencies should continue to review, evaluate, and resolve difficulties and obstacles to help localities implement the programs as quickly as possible; actively and decisively pursuing the goals of the three National Target Programs.

According to the Coordination Program, along with strengthening propaganda, it is necessary to promptly and effectively refute false, hostile, and distorted information about the collective economy; advise and propose preliminary and final reviews of resolutions, documents, and directives of the Party on the collective economy and cooperatives; coordinate the organization of practical surveys inside and outside the province on the collective economy and cooperatives; management experiences and models, and research results on the application of scientific and technological advancements in production; identify and replicate new factors and advanced models… All parties need to uphold responsibility, be proactive and positive in coordination.

*After 7 days of inspection (from July 21 to 27), the inter-agency coastal inspection team hasDirectly observed 97 vessels and disseminated maritime law information to 90 vessels.with 310 fishermen, including 3 boats from other provinces and 87 fishing boats belonging to fishermen from Nghe An province.

During the inspection, the team fined two fishing vessels a total of 800,000 VND each for violations by crew members and workers at sea who did not carry identification documents.
