* Nghe An Department of Health organizes a conference to implementA health check-up and screening campaign for residents in the province.According to the plan, the 2026 health check-up and screening campaign for the people will be launched simultaneously from May 16, 2026, with the goal of covering 100% of communes and wards in Nghe An province.

* Due to the influence of a verstärkt cold front, moderate to heavy rain, and in some places very heavy rain, occurred in Nghe An province early this morning (May 8th), causing water levels in many rivers and streams to rise, disrupting traffic and flooding crops.
