Nghe An: Seized over 2,000 mobile phones without valid documents

(Baonghean.vn) - At 8:30 a.m. on May 18, on National Highway 1A, through Dien Hong commune, Dien Chau Traffic Police Station 5-1 caught a case of illegal transportation of a large number of mobile phones and electronic devices.

Accordingly, while checking the passenger car with license plate 99B 01169 driven by driver Hoang Hai, residing in Viet Yen district, Bac Giang province, the working group of Traffic Police Station 5-1 Dien Chau discovered that the car was carrying a large number of mobile phones, phone accessories and some electronic devices manufactured abroad.

The seized phones were of Nokia and Samsung brands.

The driver could not present any documents proving the origin or invoice of the shipment... Upon inspection, the shipment included: 2,114 Samsung and Nokia mobile phones, 5,800 batteries, 3,000 battery chargers of various types, 10,000 Nokia branded stickers and 307 speakers.

The phone shipment comes with related components.

The total value of the shipment was about 300 million VND. The driver admitted to transporting the goods for hire from Saigon to Bac Ninh province for sale.
