Nghe An organizes the flag-raising ceremony and flying the national flag to celebrate the 135th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh.
On the morning of May 19, at Ho Chi Minh Square, there will be a flag-raising ceremony and the flying of the national flag to celebrate the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025).
This is a special activity in the series of key events of the province towardsUncle Ho's birthday, expressing the deep respect and gratitude of the Party Committee, government and people of Nghe An towards President Ho Chi Minh - the outstanding son of the homeland.
According to the plan, the flag-raising ceremony and the flying of the national flag will be organized by the Department of Culture - Sports and Tourism in coordination with SG Chien Thang Investment - Import - Export - Trade - Service Joint Stock Company, with the participation of many units and forces in the province. The national flag measuring 2025m² will be flown at Ho Chi Minh Square - a space imbued with historical and national spirit, contributing to arousing the pride and sense of responsibility of each citizen towards the Fatherland.

The balloon flying activity with the national flag has been licensed by the General Staff - Ministry of National Defense, and is closely monitored in terms of technology and flight safety. The Provincial People's Committee requested departments, branches, armed forces, students and related units to develop specific plans, ensure security and order, and mobilize participating forces in accordance with the solemn nature of the event.
The flag-raising and flag-flying ceremony is an opportunity to educate the tradition of patriotism, the spirit of great solidarity and national pride in all cadres, party members, people and the young generation. This is not only a sacred ritual but also a strong message affirming the belief and aspiration for development of Nghe An homeland in the new era.
