Nghe An: Awarding the title of Excellent Teacher to 19 teachers and managers

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of November 20, the People's Committee of Nghe An province held the 14th Meritorious Teacher Award Ceremony in 2017 and met with People's Teachers and Meritorious Teachers on the occasion of Vietnamese Teachers' Day, November 20.

Nghe An is a province with a tradition of studiousness and respect for religion. Over the years, the province has always paid attention to the education sector and the teaching staff, considering this a direct factor determining the quality of education and training.

This is also the premise for the success of Nghe An's education sector, bringing the quality of comprehensive education to continue to be promoted, the quality of key education to be maintained and developed, the quality of education in mountainous areas to be increasingly improved. In particular, this year, Nghe An is in the top of the country in national, international and regional competitions for excellent students.

Speaking at the ceremony, Comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong - Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee affirmed: The above achievements are thanks to the efforts of the Party Committee, government and people of Nghe An, of the collective of cadres and teachers in the whole province. In particular, he acknowledged the great contributions of 200 People's Teachers and Excellent Teachers to the education cause of the province.

Teachers are typical examples of passion, dedication, devotion to the profession, devotion, love for students; are symbols of knowledge and virtue; are the ones who inspire, light the fire of passion for learning, seeking, discovering knowledge, arousing love for homeland and country.
