Nghe An: Over 1.2 billion VND to support victims of Agent Orange

On the morning of June 10, the Provincial Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin held a conference to review the work of the first 6 months of the year and deploy tasks for the last 6 months of 2019.

In the first 6 months of 2019, the Provincial Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin has performed well in caring for and helping victims throughout the province.

In particular, the Associationmobilized organizations, businesses, philanthropists and people to support and help nearly 3,700 victims with special difficulties in housing, production capital, medical treatment, etc. with an amount of over 1.2 billion VND.

In implementing the tasks in the coming time, the Provincial Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin will continue to coordinate with departments, branches, districts, cities and towns to regularly do a good job of caring for and helping victims, contributing to promoting the development of the association at all levels.

At the same time, continue to diversify forms of propaganda, mobilize philanthropists, businesses, individuals, and groups to sponsor and support to create a working fund to help and create conditions for Agent Orange victims to overcome difficulties, improve their lives, and integrate into the community.
