Nghe An: Over 12,000 candidates did not register for university and college admission
(Baonghean.vn) - April 30 is the final deadline for candidates to submit their applications for the national high school exam. In Nghe An, there are currently over 12,000 candidates who only registered to take the exam to get their graduation results.
This number is nearly 1,000 candidates larger than previously expected and accounts for about 37% of the number of candidates registered for the exam this year. According to Mr. Thai Huy Vinh, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training, the number of candidates registering for the graduation exam increased because of the increase in the number of independent candidates. In addition, recently, many colleges and vocational secondary schools have increased career guidance work in high schools, so many students have decided to switch to vocational training instead of planning to take the entrance exam to colleges and universities as before.

According to the plan, to prepare for the national high school exam, the Department of Education and Training will arrange 24 test sites for candidates to take the exam only to get graduation results and on average each district will have its own test site. Information candidates need to check carefully includes: personal information, exam registration information, graduation recognition, priority regime...
