Nghe An province is implementing its military recruitment plan for 2025.
The preliminary health screening for military conscription in Nghe An province must be completed by November 2024. The handover ceremony is expected to be held from February 13 to 15, 2025.
On October 9th, the People's Committee of Nghe An province issued Plan No. 767/KH-UBND to implement the selection and recruitment of citizens.join the armyenlist in the army and fulfill the obligation to participate in the People's Public Security Force in 2025. The issuance of this plan aims to standardize the content, time, and procedures of the work.recruitmentEnsuring strict adherence to regulations, democracy, transparency, and high quality, and achieving 100% of the assigned recruitment targets.
Accordingly, the Provincial People's Committee requests that all departments, agencies, political and social organizations, and localities strictly implement the Law on Military Service, related documents, and the Plan of the Provincial People's Committee and the Provincial Military Service Council; strengthen the leadership and guidance of Party committees and authorities at all levels in thoroughly implementing and disseminating the Law on Military Service and guiding documents from all levels to the people and young people of military service age; conduct recruitment work in a democratic, open, and transparent manner; and organize the handover and reception of recruits in a strict and absolutely safe manner.
Strengthen the Military Service Councils at all levels to ensure sufficient numbers and correct composition; promote the role and responsibilities of each member; closely coordinate with departments, agencies, and socio-political organizations, with military agencies playing a core role in advising Party committees and governments at the same level to lead and direct the successful completion of military recruitment.
The content and timeline for military recruitment work as requested by the Provincial People's Committee are as follows: Preliminary health screening for military service to be completed in November 2024. Medical examination for military service to be completed before December 31, 2024. Provincial-level coordination conference for troop handover and reception to be completed before December 22, 2024. Coordination for troop handover and reception at the district level, including the handover and reception dates and specific times, will be announced at the provincial-level coordination conference.
The review of applications and finalization of troop numbers will be completed before January 14, 2025. The issuance of conscription orders will be completed before January 24, 2025. The troop handover ceremony is tentatively scheduled for February 13-15, 2025. A conference to review and learn from the recruitment process at all levels will be held before March 31, 2025.
The Provincial People's Committee has clearly assigned responsibilities for military recruitment to departments, agencies, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, members of the Provincial Military Service Council, and the People's Committees of districts, cities, and towns. In particular, the Provincial Military Command is tasked with leading and advising the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Committee, and the Provincial Military Service Council on directing departments, agencies, units, and localities to effectively implement military recruitment in accordance with the Military Service Law and its implementing guidelines, achieving 100% of the recruitment target and meeting high quality standards.../.
