Nghe An province requires the preliminary health screening for military service to be completed by November 2024. The military handover ceremony is expected to be held from February 13 to 15, 2025.
On October 9, the People's Committee of Nghe An province issued Plan No. 767/KH-UBND to deploy the work of selecting and calling citizens.join the armyjoin the army and perform the obligation to join the people's police in 2025. The issuance of the plan aims to unify the content, time, and working process.military recruitmentensure strictness, democracy, transparency, compliance with regulations, good quality, 100% completion of military recruitment targets.
Accordingly, the Provincial People's Committee requests departments, branches, sectors, socio-political organizations, and localities to thoroughly implement the Law on Military Service, related documents, and the Plan of the Provincial People's Committee and the Provincial Military Service Council; strengthen the leadership and direction of Party committees and authorities at all levels in thoroughly implementing and propagating and educating the Law on Military Service, and guiding documents at all levels widely among the people and youth of military service age; carry out military recruitment work to ensure democracy, publicity, and transparency; organize military handover and reception strictly and with absolute safety.
Strengthen the Military Service Councils at all levels with sufficient numbers and correct composition; promote the role and responsibility of each member; closely coordinate with departments, branches, sectors, and socio-political organizations, in which the military agency plays a core role in advising the Party Committees and authorities at the same level to lead and direct the successful completion of military recruitment work.
The content of the military recruitment work and the implementation timeline requested by the Provincial People's Committee are as follows: Preliminary military health screening to be completed in November 2024. Military health examination to be completed before December 31, 2024. Provincial-level military handover and acceptance conference to be completed before December 22, 2024. District-level military handover and acceptance contract and the specific date and time of handover and acceptance of troops will be announced in the provincial-level military handover and acceptance conference.
Reviewing records and finalizing military numbers must be completed before January 14, 2025. Issuing orders to call citizens to join the army must be completed before January 24, 2025. Organizing military handover ceremonies is expected from February 13 to 15, 2025. Organizing conferences to review experiences in military recruitment at all levels must be completed before March 31, 2025.
The Provincial People's Committee has clearly assigned the responsibility of carrying out military recruitment to departments, branches, sectors, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, members of the Provincial Military Service Council and the People's Committees of districts, cities and towns.
