The People's Committee of Nghe An province has just issued a Plan to evaluate anti-corruption work in 2023. The purpose is to evaluate the implementation of anti-corruption work in Nghe An province in 2023 according to the provisions of the 2018 Law on Anti-Corruption and guiding documents; ensure objective, scientific, economical, effective and adequate assessment of resources in anti-corruption work of the province and localities and units.

The assessment is based on the set of indicators and guidelines for assessing anti-corruption work for provincial-level People's Committees in 2023 issued by the Government Inspectorate; each assessment content requires specific data and supporting documents.
Contents of the provincial PCTN work assessment in 2023:
Implement according to the instructions of the Government Inspectorate in Plan No. 198/KH-TTCP dated February 15, 2023 and the set of indicators and guidance documents for evaluating provincial-level anti-corruption work in 2023 issued by the Government Inspectorate.
Provincial departments, branches, sectors, district People's Committees and relevant agencies and units: collect information and documents; develop a Report on the assessment of anti-corruption work of their units and localities and send it to the Provincial Inspectorate before April 15, 2024 (and send an electronic copy via email:[email protected]).
Any unit or locality that submits a Report to the Provincial Inspectorate after April 15, 2024 will not be considered and will be considered as not completing the task of evaluating anti-corruption work.
The Provincial Inspectorate and the 2023 Anti-Corruption Assessment Working Group will conduct an assessment and draft a report on the province's anti-corruption work assessment in 2023 to submit to the Provincial People's Committee before May 20, 2024.
The Provincial People's Committee approves and sends the Provincial PCTN Assessment Report in 2023 to the Government Inspectorate before May 31, 2024.
The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Provincial Inspectorate to preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies.Advise on the establishment of a Working Group to evaluate anti-corruption work in Nghe An province in 2023 with the Provincial Inspectorate as the standing agency; act as the focal point for coordination, communication and exchange with the Working Group of the Government Inspectorate.
Guide, inspect and urge provincial departments, branches and sectors, People's Committees of districts, towns and Vinh city and relevant agencies to evaluate anti-corruption work in 2023 after the Government Inspectorate issues a set of indicators and documents guiding the evaluation of anti-corruption work at the provincial level in 2023;
Preside over and coordinate with relevant localities and units to collect records and documents to prove the results of the assessment of the province's anti-corruption work and provide records and documents as requested by the Government Inspectorate;
Direct the Working Group to organize the assessment and develop a report on the assessment of anti-corruption work in 2023 at the provincial level; urge, guide, examine and review reports of units and localities; study records and documents to conduct assessment and score anti-corruption work in 2023; develop a draft report on the assessment of anti-corruption work in 2023 to send to the Provincial People's Committee no later than May 20, 2024.
Coordinate with the Provincial PCTN Assessment Working Group to explain results and scores to the Government Inspectorate Working Group when requested.
Ensure funding for the implementation of tasks carried out by the Nghe An Provincial Anti-Corruption Assessment Working Group in 2023.
Provincial departments, branches and sectors; People's Committees of districts, towns and Vinh city and agencies: Provincial Police, Provincial People's Procuracy, Provincial People's Court, Provincial Civil Judgment Enforcement DepartmentBased on the functions, tasks, areas of responsibility, and scope of management, organize and thoroughly evaluate the anti-corruption work of the locality and unit according to the instructions of the Government Inspectorate, the Provincial Inspectorate, and the Provincial Anti-Corruption Assessment Working Group in 2023 to ensure accuracy, objectivity, and comprehensiveness; prepare an assessment file including documents and papers as a basis for and proving the scores; prepare an assessment report on anti-corruption work in 2023 (according to the direction of the Provincial People's Committee and the instructions of the Provincial Inspectorate). The assessment report and assessment file shall be sent to the Provincial People's Committee (via the Provincial Inspectorate, in paper and electronic copies) before April 15, 2024.
Coordinate well with the Provincial Anti-Corruption Assessment Working Group in 2023 and the Provincial Inspectorate; promptly report, provide complete data and documents as required for assessment and explanation, provide documents for clarification as required by the Working Group and the Provincial Inspectorate when necessary.
