Nghe An: Collecting nearly 19 billion VND in taxes from restaurants and hotels
(Baonghean) - Through inspections, Nghe An has collected 18.6 billion VND from businesses operating in the fields of food, restaurants, and hotels in the province.
Vinh City currently has 49 businesses operating in the food and beverage business and 16 individual business households. Ms. Trinh Thi Thuy Hang - Deputy Head of Vinh City Tax Department said: To avoid the situation where many businesses and individuals do not issue invoices, leading to businesses declaring low revenue and tax payable, Vinh Tax Department has implemented solutions to prevent revenue loss in this field.

Specifically, collect information on input goods, actual revenue, daily, weekly and monthly customer numbers at organizations and individuals doing business through various channels. Thanks to that, the amount of payments increased significantly.
Revenue in the first 9 months of 2018 for large restaurant businesses and individuals at Vinh City Tax Department reached more than 6.6 billion VND, an increase of 34% over the same period in 2017 (equivalent to an increase of 1.7 billion VND).

Nghe An province currently has over 750 organizations and individuals operating motels and hotels. In the first 9 months of 2018, Nghe An Tax Department inspected and examined 24 motel and hotel businesses; the amount of tax collected and fined through inspection and examination was over 17.5 billion VND, proposing to reduce losses by 3.8 billion VND.
Inspected 55 food and beverage businesses, collected 1.1 billion VND in additional taxes and fines through inspection and examination. At the same time, conducted surveys at 11 food and beverage businesses, increasing revenue by nearly 90 billion VND.
