Nghe An honors 34 outstanding young doctors who follow Uncle Ho's teachings

The 34 doctors who were honored and commended this time are members of the Nghe An Province Young Physicians Association. Over the past year, these 34 young physicians have actively participated in the Association's movements and achieved many outstanding achievements in volunteer work for the community.

Together with 500 other members of the Nghe An Province Young Physicians Association, in 2017, the outstanding physicians organized and participated in 38 medical examinations, provided free medicine, and provided health consultations to more than 9,000 people in difficult circumstances and remote areas.

They have also made many efforts and achieved many good results in scientific research, contributing significantly to technical innovation, improving the quality of medical examination and treatment to better serve patients; and are a positive factor in the action of innovating service style, significantly reducing the time of medical examination and treatment towards patient satisfaction.

Speaking at the meeting to commend, comrade Le Minh Thong - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee acknowledged and highly appreciated the role of the young medical team in taking care of people's health. At the same time, he affirmed: Currently, Nghe An is becoming a key medical examination and treatment center of the North Central region. Many advanced techniques have been deployed, treating many serious diseases. At the same time, preventive medicine and target programs have been effectively implemented. These achievements have important contributions from the young medical team.

Pointing out the current difficulties and limitations in health care for the people, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee expressed his wish that: Young doctors and physicians in Nghe An will constantly improve their medical ethics and profession, actively participate in social activities, promote the role of volunteering in the work of caring for and protecting the health of the people, especially the poor, living in remote areas and areas with special difficulties. Each young doctor must be a role model in research activities, application of science and technology and serving the Fatherland and the people.

During the meeting and commendation program, young doctors of Nghe An province had the opportunity to exchange and learn by listening and discussing with 34 outstanding young doctors about the scientific projects and topics that have been effectively applied in practice that they have implemented and participated in.
