Nghe An honors 69 students as 'good children, excellent students, beloved grandchildren of Uncle Ho'

On the morning of September 7, at Kim Lien Relic Site, Nam Dan District, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Agencies' Youth Union held a ceremony to honor "Good children, excellent students, beloved grandchildren of Uncle Ho".

Attending the event were comrade Nguyen Nam Dinh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee of Provincial Agencies; Le Van Luong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union; and representatives of relevant associations, departments and branches.

The ceremony to honor "Good children, excellent students of beloved Uncle Ho" has become a traditional activity of the youth of the Provincial Agencies at the beginning of the new school year. Over the years, this activity has not only created motivation for training and goals to strive for, but also left good impressions on teenagers and children.

In particular, this is also a practical activity to celebrate the 50th anniversary of implementing President Ho Chi Minh's Testament and the 65th anniversary of the establishment of the Party Committee of Nghe An provincial agencies (September 22, 1954 - September 22, 2019).

The program honored 69 outstanding students, who are typical examples of progress and excellence in the spirit of diligence and good study. They are excellent students at national, provincial, district levels, all-round excellent students, won medals in Olympic competitions, etc.

Besides academic achievements, many students have actively participated in movements and activities of the Youth Union - Young Pioneers - Association and developed their talents in many fields.

Many outstanding examples were especially honored, such as: Nguyen Phan Khanh Gia - Class 3C, Hung Dung 1 Primary School, won Gold Medals in International Mathematics Competitions; Phan Dong Nhat - Class 4A, Ha Huy Tap 2 Secondary School, won Gold Prize in Science, Silver Prize in English, Bronze Prize in Math Olympiad; Nguyen Phan Khanh An - Class 7A, Dang Thai Mai Secondary School, national champion in International Mathematics Competition, Gold Medal in English, Silver Medal in Young Math Talent Search Competition...

The Organizing Committee and accompanying units awarded 69 gifts (total value of nearly 45 million VND) and 3 scholarships worth 27 million VND to 3 students with the most outstanding achievements. This is a very meaningful encouragement for the students when entering the new school year.
