Nghe An honors "5 Good Students", "5 Good Student Collective" and "January Star"

At the ceremony, the delegates reviewed the traditional day of students (January 9, 1950 - January 9, 2019). Over the past 69 years, together with students nationwide, generations of cadres, members, students of Nghe An have always been worthy of the fine traditions of their homeland: overcoming difficulties, studiousness, creativity, volunteering, integration and development.

Over the years, the Provincial Student Association has always played the role of a bridge connecting students with the Party, the State and the Youth Union; and is an important educational part in schools. From the practical movement, the Student Association at all levels has discovered, recognized and commended many typical students, many of whom have been honored to stand in the ranks of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

Speaking at the commendation ceremony, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, Chairman of the Provincial Student Association Le Van Luong called on all levels of the Youth Union, Association, Youth Union members, youth, association members, students in the whole province to always uphold the spirit of patriotism, persistently practice to improve political qualities, regularly cultivate morality and style to become exemplary citizens, have a beautiful lifestyle, nurture the desire to rise up, actively participate in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland; uphold the spirit of inquisitiveness, eagerness to learn: learn from teachers, learn at school, learn from friends and the good things in life; spread the spirit of sharing, volunteering for the community, society...

“Each student should be a beautiful story in life, in volunteer activities, participating in solving difficult and new problems in the locality and school. So that everyone is determined to successfully implement the Resolution of the Student Union Congresses at all levels and the Resolution of the 10th Congress of the Vietnam Student Union, term 2018 - 2023” - Comrade Le Van Luong emphasized.

On this occasion, the Vietnam Student Association and the Provincial Student Association Secretariat decided to award 52 cadres and members who won the "January Star" award; commend and award 12 members who won the title of "5 Good Students" and 1 collective of "5 Good Students" at the provincial level.

Also at the ceremony, the organizing committee awarded 10 million VND in support capital for ideas participating in the "Start up - Students" contest (taking place on the afternoon of January 7): "Student used goods supermarket" by author Nguyen Linh Nhi, a student at Vinh Medical University; "Breakfast for students and medical staff combined with a volunteer student cafe model" by a group of authors from Vinh Medical University; "Kim Thien Hoa Cosmetics Business - therapy from the quintessence of Vietnam" - author Thai Thi Linh, a student at Nghe An College of Tourism and Commerce.

With the performances participating in the Festival of dance groups, student dance groups of Nghe An province taking place on the morning of January 9, the Organizing Committee awarded 2 first prizes to the dance group of Nghe An College of Culture and Arts and the dance group of Vinh City Youth Union; 2 second prizes to Nghe An Pedagogical College and Thai Hoa City Youth Union; 4 third prizes and 14 consolation prizes.
