Nghe An mobilizes more than 457 billion VND for relief work and the 'For the Poor' Fund
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of November 27, the "For the Poor" Fund Mobilization Committee and the Nghe An Provincial Relief Committee held a conference to report on the results of activities in 2020 and deploy tasks in the coming time.

In 2020, the Fund's Campaign Committee "For the poor" and the province's relief work has called for support with a total amount of nearly 457.6 billion VND, of which the Fund for the Poor is 247.6 billion VND, the relief work has received money and goods worth nearly 210 billion VND.
At the conference, members discussed and agreed on the organization and promulgation of regulations and activities of the "For the Poor" Fund Mobilization Committee, the Committee for receiving money and relief goods of Nghe An province, and at the same time proposed key tasks in the coming time.

Concluding the conference, Comrade Vo Thi Minh Sinh - Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee accepted the opinions of the members to complete the operating regulations of the Fund Mobilization Committee for the Poor and the Provincial Fund and Relief Goods Reception Committee. She requested that members promote their responsibilities to perform well the assigned tasks. The Standing Committee of the Mobilization Committee will regularly connect, exchange information, and increase interactions so that in the coming time, regulations can be supplemented for more effective operations, especially during the upcoming Tet for the Poor in 2021.
