Nghe An: Entering school to beat teacher, student hospitalized
(Baonghean.vn) - During class, two young men on a motorbike caused trouble. Teachers and students intervened to stop them. One student was hit in the head with a brick, causing serious injury.
Information from Le Loi High School, Tan Phu Commune, Tan Ky District said: The above incident occurred at around 2:30 p.m. on November 13 at Le Loi High School.
Accordingly, during the afternoon class, two subjects appeared: Thanh and Quan (both residing in Van Long and Van Xuan hamlets, Giai Xuan commune, Tan Ky district) riding motorbikes into the school yard. Here, the two young men revved their engines and drove around the school yard, suspecting that they were looking for students to intimidate.
Discovering the incident, the school closed the gate to stop these two subjects to clarify their actions. At this time, Mr. Nguyen Van Giap - Secretary of the school's Youth Union was standing at the gate to stop them when a subject named Truong (a friend of Thanh and Quan) climbed over the gate and attacked them from outside. Seeing this, another teacher discovered it and called out to the whole school to stop them.
At the same time, many students and teachers ran out to stop the fight. While intervening, Tai (a student of class 12A8) was hit in the head with a brick by a subject. The blow was so strong that Tai had to be hospitalized and received 10 stitches; and teacher Nguyen Van Giap was hit so hard with a brick by subject Truong, causing serious injuries and also had to be hospitalized.
After causing trouble, Thanh and Quan escaped to a billiards parlor near the school gate. Truong was subdued by the school and taken to the Tan Phu Commune People's Committee to be handed over to the police. At around 4:30 a.m., the teacher, along with the commune police and local police, went to the billiards parlor to arrest Quan and Thanh who were hiding there.
Currently, all three subjects have been handed over to Tan Ky district police for handling according to the law.
After the incident, the school's board of directors, homeroom teachers and students visited and encouraged Tai and Mr. Giap.
The case is currently being further investigated by Tan Ky district police.
