Mr. Lo Kham Kha - Head of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Tuong Duong district said that after receiving the information, on the afternoon of October 23, the department reported to the district leaders, and at the same time directed localities to monitor and propagate to people to be vigilant against those who buy pigs infected with African swine fever. The district People's Committee also directed the authorities to investigate the above vehicle.

Speaking to Nghe An Newspaper, Lieutenant Colonel Tran Phuc Tu - Head of Tuong Duong District Police said that as soon as the vehicle appeared in the area, the district police inspected and verified the vehicle. There was no buying and selling of pigs on the vehicle, no goods, and the vehicle owner was determined to be from outside the district.
