Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Nam Hong - Deputy Head of the Traffic Police Department of Nghe An Province Police said: Decree 168/CP, effective from January 1, 2025, replaces Decree 100 and 123, stipulates stricter penalties for serious violations, especially those that pose a risk of causing traffic accidents. Increasing the penalty level is one of the important measures to deter and raise awareness of law compliance among traffic participants. The goal is to minimize accidents and protect people's lives and property.

In the coming time, the traffic police force will continue to increase patrols, strictly handle violations and step up propaganda work so that people can properly implement new regulations in the law and decree.
