Nghi Loc: 31,000 party members and officials registered for training and education

In 5 years, the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee has organized over 250 classes with over 31,000 party members and union members studying topics on Ho Chi Minh's ideology, moral example and style. After studying the topics, cadres, party members, union members and union members all build a personal self-improvement registration form following the example of President Ho Chi Minh.

Party organizations in Nghi Loc district have also directed their subordinate Party cells to incorporate studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology and moral example into regular activities, along with improving the quality of activities and building clean and strong Party cells.

Implementing Directive 03 of the Politburo, the Party Committee, the government, departments, branches, the Fatherland Front and organizations in the district have concretized and included the implementation of the Directive into the program and plan to carry out the tasks of socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security, Party building, and building the political system of the locality and unit through specific actions, which have received high public consensus.

The District Women's Union continues to promote the campaign to build "Shelters of Love". Over the past 5 years, the union's officials and members have raised 23.6 billion VND to build 38 "Shelters of Love" for poor women in especially difficult circumstances. The Veterans Association mobilized its members to donate over 30,500m2 of land and contribute nearly 12,500 working days to build rural roads.

Or like in the Party Committee of the District Party Committee, every year, cadres, party members, and civil servants of the agency save personal expenses with an amount of over 30 million VND to help families with preferential policies, poor households, cadres, and party members in difficult circumstances. In addition to the savings contributed by the Party cell, many comrades also register to contribute an additional 3 to 5 million VND every year to support a number of families in difficult circumstances in the district.

Learning and following Uncle Ho's example, many agencies and units have promoted administrative reform, built a scientific, disciplined, orderly working style, resolved work accurately, promptly, effectively, and in accordance with principles, without causing trouble or harassment to the people.

One of the activities that has been recognized and highly appreciated by the people is the work of issuing ID cards by Nghi Loc District Police. In the past 5 years, the Administrative Management Police Team of the District Police has directly gone to the area to complete procedures to issue 3,060 ID cards to the elderly, the disabled, and those in difficult circumstances, war invalids and children of war invalids in the area.

At the same time, typical individual examples appear more and more. They are key cadres of Party organizations, government, unions, agencies and units who are dedicated to their work; they are typical examples in the emulation to develop the economy, eliminate hunger, reduce poverty, and build new rural areas; they are doctors who are devoted to their patients, teachers who are devoted to their beloved students...

For example, in the mountainous commune of Nghi Van, there is Ms. Thai Thi Nhung - Vice President of the Commune Women's Union. Five years ago, she was assigned by the Party Committee to be the Secretary of the Party Cell of Hamlet 14 - a Catholic hamlet, 4 km from her residence.

As a woman, burdened with family, but to complete her duties, she often had to sacrifice housework and devote all her time to work. With perseverance and ingenuity, she mobilized the people of hamlet 14 to donate land to open rural roads, carry out land consolidation and plot exchange to build new rural areas. From a place with many difficulties, hamlet 14 is now ranked among the top of the commune in this movement.

Summing up 5 years of implementing Directive 03 of the Politburo on "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's moral example" in the period of 2011 - 2016, the whole district had 94 typical collectives and individuals commended and rewarded by the Standing Committee of Nghi Loc District Party Committee.

It can be said that the results achieved in implementing Directive 03 of the Politburo in Nghi Loc have significantly contributed to the successful implementation of the local economic, cultural and social development goals.
