Nghi Loc: 6,500 households borrow capital from the Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development to develop the economy

(Baonghean.vn)- In the first 9 months of 2012, Nghi Loc District Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development continued to grow, with total mobilized capital reaching 718 billion VND, an increase of 101 billion compared to the beginning of the year and an increase of 66 billion compared to the same period.

Total outstanding loans reached 468 billion VND, an increase of 35 billion VND compared to the same period in 2011, with 6,500 households receiving loans. The bad debt ratio was only 0.6%. Notably, in the first 9 months of the year, the credit guarantee program also compensated risks for 14 cases, with an amount of over 400 million VND. With 80% of the loan capital serving agriculture and rural areas, the capital of the Agricultural and Rural Development Bank, Nghi Loc Branch, has helped farmers in the area invest in buying seeds, livestock, machinery and equipment to serve production, create jobs for workers, contribute to promoting the development of the agricultural and rural economy, effectively implementing the national target program on hunger eradication, poverty reduction and new rural construction./.
