Nghi Loc hands over solidarity house to poor Catholic family
(Baonghean.vn) - On the occasion of the 87th anniversary of the Vietnam Fatherland Front's Traditional Day, on the afternoon of November 17, the Nghi Loc District Fatherland Front Committee coordinated with Nghi Hoa Commune to organize the handover of a great solidarity house to a poor household of Catholics in the area.

After 3 months of construction, the solidarity house has been completed. The house was newly built for Mr. Hoang Ngoc Huan, 75 years old, living in Ngoc Duong hamlet, Nghi Hoa commune. The house has a corrugated iron roof, two rooms, and is 48m wide.2, total value 50 million VND. Of which 30 million VND is supported by the Nghi Loc District Fatherland Front Committee from the Poor People's Fund. The rest is invested by the family and supported by relatives.
Mr. Huan’s wife has passed away, he is in poor health, unable to do heavy work, and is raising an orphaned child. The newly built house will replace the old, dilapidated house and will help the two of them have a stable place to live, contributing to gradually stabilizing their lives and moving towards poverty eradication.
