Nghi Loc arrests 2 cow thieves

Nghi Loc District Police Investigation Agency arrested two subjects Vo Van Hanh and Le Van Thach for stealing cows.

At around 10 p.m. on April 18, Vo Van Hanh sought out Le Van Thach (also residing in Hamlet 6, Nghi Thinh Commune, Nghi Loc District) to invite him to go steal a cow from the family of Dang Khac Hai (born in 1954, in the same hamlet). Thach had just returned from working as a construction worker, had drunk a few glasses of wine and was a little tipsy, and was short of money to take care of his wife who had just returned from the emergency room at the Vietnam-Ba Lan Hospital for nearly 3 weeks. Hearing Hanh's invitation, Thach agreed. Taking advantage of the time when the family was fast asleep, Thach stood outside to watch while Hanh broke into the house and stole the cow. When both of them were taking the cow to sell, they were arrested by a patrol team of Nghi Loc District Police.
