Nghi Loc ensures power supply for businesses

(Baonghean.vn) – In Nghi Loc district, there are 3 key projects being implemented: Nghi Thiet cement grinding station project, N5 and D4 road projects. Right from the beginning of the dry season, local authorities and the Electricity sector have developed plans to cope with the drought, ensuring power supply for factories, companies, production and construction contractors to speed up the progress of projects in the area.

Currently, Nghi Loc Power Company manages 400 customers with large electricity consumption, with 8.5 million KW/h in peak months (equivalent to 15 billion VND). Of which, there are 3 key projects: the cement grinding station project in Nghi Thiet, the N5 and D4 road projects passing through Nghi Thiet, Nghi Yen, Nghi Tien, Nghi Long, Nghi Thuan communes... are being implemented and always need stable electricity.

To ensure power supply for production, Nghi Loc Power has implemented many solutions to prevent overload during the hot season. Nghi Loc Power has built 6 more transformer stations in the communes of Nghi Quang, Nghi Hop, Nghi Xa, Nghi Van and increased the capacity of some power stations to prevent overload. Repairing the power grid, replacing twisted cables along the entire line, investing in upgrading the Quan Hanh 973 intermediate line from 10KV to 22KV, to provide stable power to the communes of Nghi Quang, Nghi Xa, Nghi Hop.

Along with that, the unit coordinated with local authorities to clear the power grid corridor, arrange 24/7 staff in key areas, and have plans to handle some points that often experience overload such as Nghi Hoa and Nghi Trung.

Stable power source ensures operations and production at the Central Construction Mechanical Company (Nghi Thach, Nghi Loc)

Thanks to that, the electricity shortage phenomenon this summer has been basically overcome, and power outages have also occurred less frequently. The power source for production has also been guaranteed, helping the project construction units speed up the progress. Mr. Tran Dinh Trien - Director of 198 Nghe An Joint Stock Company - the construction unit of the resettlement area project in Nghi Yen commune said: During the construction process, the power source was stable, there were no power outages, creating favorable conditions for us, the construction unit, to speed up the progress of handing over the project.

Central Mechanical and Construction Joint Stock Company - Truong Thach Industrial Park is located at the end of the power source, but the electricity for the company's production is always guaranteed. Mr. Nguyen Duc Hoi - Director of the company said: "The company specializes in manufacturing and installing steel structures, manufacturing and installing industrial equipment, all of which require electricity. This year, despite the drought, the power source is very stable. Thanks to that, more than 70 employees at the company still work very productively every day."

Power supply is guaranteed to serve construction at resettlement areas in Nghi Yen, Nghi Loc

Mr. Hoa Xuan Thang - Deputy Director of Nghi Loc Electricity said: "In the future, we will continue to propose to Nghe An Electricity to remove Quan Hanh intermediate station to upgrade the entire 972,973 line to 22kv and repair some lines going from Nghi Tien, Nghi Thiet, Nghi Lam to Nghi Van, Nghi Kieu to ensure stable power supply and reduce power loss".
