Nghi Loc: Most voters go to the polls on the morning of election day

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of May 22, 138,969 voters in Nghi Loc district exercised their rights and obligations to select and elect the most representative people as elected representatives.

All 213 polling stations in the district opened very early to welcome voters to learn about the brief biographies of candidates for the National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels. All polling stations were decorated solemnly and in accordance with regulations.

Polling stations were arranged scientifically, ensuring convenience for voters to vote. At many polling stations, district leaders attended the opening ceremony and cast the first ballot. In areas with a large Catholic population, the election was actively carried out by the people. In coastal communes, many voters also temporarily stopped going to the beach today to join everyone in voting.

According to a quick report from the District Election Committee, all 213 polling stations in the district opened on time, took place safely, democratically and in accordance with the law. By 10 a.m., 80% of voters in the district had voted. Of which, in Nghi Tien commune, 5 out of 6 polling stations had 100% voter turnout.
