Nghi Loc focuses on taking care of 10,000 hectares of spring crops

(Baonghean.vn) - Up to now, Nghi Loc has produced over 10,000 hectares of spring crops, including 7,300 hectares of rice and 2,700 hectares of peanuts. Taking advantage of favorable weather, these days farmers in the whole district are actively going to the fields to take care of their crops.

Nghi Loc District People's Committee directed people to combine fertilization with weeding and mud-waking to create favorable conditions for rice plants to grow and develop well. Prune dead and weak rice plants to ensure density; regularly check fields, monitor and promptly detect harmful pests and ensure enough water for rice irrigation. For peanuts, promptly hoe, harrow, weed and fertilize, lime properly. Strive for a successful spring crop in both output and crop yield.
