(Baonghean.vn)- At 9:15 a.m. on August 12, at the civilian crossing into the center of Nghi Long commune, Nghi Loc district (at km 305 + 900 of the North - South railway), a railway traffic accident occurred.

Witnesses at the scene said that at the time, the truck carrying construction materials with license plate 37C 036 91, driven by a driver named Trung, residing in Truong Thi ward (Vinh city), was driving from National Highway 1A through the civilian crossing into the center of Nghi Long commune. Due to lack of observation, the truck driver did not detect the freight train number SBN1 running from Hanoi to Vinh approaching. As a result, the truck 37C 036 91 was thrown into the field by the freight train and was severely damaged.
