Nghi Loc organizes a contest for big, beautiful and good plowing cows

(Baonghean.vn) -To gradually promote the local livestock movement, on the afternoon of October 17, the Farmers' Association of Phuc Tho commune (Nghi Loc) organized a competition for big cows, beautiful cows and good plowing skills.

Participating in the final round are 15 cows that have passed the preliminary rounds in 18 hamlets in the area. These are cows weighing 270 kg or more with a product value of over 40 million VND. At the contest, the jury scores based on two main parts: appearance and good plowing and pulling ability.

At the end of the contest, the jury selected 1 first prize, 2 second prizes and 3 third prizes.

The contest is an opportunity for farmers to meet, exchange and learn experiences in livestock farming and knowledge of getting rich, helping the livestock industry of the commune to select healthy and beautiful cows to gradually turn livestock farming into the main production industry in the locality.
