Nghi Loc: Demonstration of using equipment to sow and plant corn and peanuts

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of January 19, in Nghi Long commune, Nghi Loc district agricultural extension station coordinated with Vietnam Agricultural Investment and Services Consulting Joint Stock Company to organize a demonstration of using hand-pushed equipment to sow and plant corn and peanuts.

Here, delegates from the colored communes in the district were introduced by representatives of Vietnam Agricultural Investment and Service Joint Stock Company on the features and how to use peanut and corn sowing and planting equipment. Accordingly, when used, these devices will automatically poke holes, sow seeds, fill and maintain the distance between seeds according to technical requirements. Particularly for corn sowing and planting equipment, there is an additional function of fertilizing at the same time as sowing seeds. These devices are convenient to use, reducing up to 90% of labor compared to the conventional manual sowing of corn and peanuts. Along with visiting the demonstration of the equipment, delegates also visited the spring peanut model sown by hand-pushed equipment introduced by Vietnam Agricultural Investment and Service Joint Stock Company.
