Paris terror attack suspect brought to France

French officials said that Salah Abdeslam - the suspect of the Paris terrorist attacks - was brought to France this morning (local time).

News agencyAPOn April 27, Belgian federal prosecutors confirmed that the suspect involved in the series of Paris terrorist attacks, Salah Abdeslam, had been extradited from Belgium to France.

According toAPFrench officials said Salah Abdeslam was brought to France at 9:15 a.m. on April 27 (local time).

Apart from saying that Abdeslam was in France this morning, neither French nor Belgian prosecutors provided further information about the matter.

Salah Abdeslam is believed to be the only surviving suspect in the series of terrorist attacks in Paris in November 2015. Therefore, this subject is considered a "gold mine" by European counter-terrorism agencies to investigate terrorist networks on this continent.

During his first two interrogations in Belgium, Abdeslam confessed some information and expressed his unwillingness to be extradited to France. However, since the terrorist attacks at the airport and subway station in Brussels, Belgium on March 22, Salah Abdeslam has remained completely silent.

Salah Abdeslam's lawyer said the suspect has changed his mind and wants to be extradited to France as soon as possible and has pledged to continue to testify if questioned in France./.
