German MP responds strongly to US threats on 'Nord Stream - 2'
The United States should not threaten Germany over the construction of Nord Stream 2, which is contrary to relations between sovereign states, all conflicts must be resolved through dialogue, including in the issue of sanctions against Russia, - said Robby Schlund, head of the German-Russian group in the Bundestag.
The German-Russian group is visiting Russia from June 16 to 21. The delegation plans to visit Moscow and Kaluga.
Members of the delegation, Russian colleagues and representatives of regional authorities will discuss bilateral relations between the two countries, as well as international issues, the Bundestag press service reported earlier.

"Dialogue needs to happen. The same must happen on sanctions. Germany must be able to guarantee energy security from reliable sources at competitive prices. This is a whole market, a whole economy. If the current government steps down, we would be happy to participate in the next German government," Schlund added.
